Conventional Animal Agriculture likes to demonise some competing technologies while romanticising their own
A lesson to be learned by conventional animal ag on the dangers of “romanticising” the industry. I know from experience the realities of the conventional meat industry. It’s a tough industry far removed from the images of Daisy grazing peacefully on clover and then turning up as a sizzling steak on the barbecue! But that’s the reality if we want to eat conventional meat!
But be careful about demonising new technologies like cultivated meat, the current reality may be even more unpalatable to consumers!
Especially if the consumer feels they’ve been misled….
