Tasting cultivated meat
My take on it all

Taste, the final frontier

Very interesting that this showed that there’s no major taste difference between conventional and cultivated chicken. But the scientist geek in me really wanted to see SuperMeat use a triangular taste test with random 3 digit codes and presented in random order! 👨‍🔬 Anyone else thinking that?

Recently an article was published showing that some cultivated meat products have a different amino acid profile to conventional meat and pointing to potential taste differences.  However, the proof is in the eating and for the SuperMeat product the taste parity signs are good
