The 2018 IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking has recently been released and Australia continues to wallow outside of the Top 10. After ranking 10 in 2014 and 9 in 2015 we’ve wallowed in the 13 -15 band for the last 3 years. In the vital area of communications technology we rank 56 out of 63 countries! The crippling of the NBN with FTTN instead of FTTP by the Federal Government undoubtedly plays a part. Innovation talk is cheap, real world action by Political parties of all persuasions is what’s needed and definitely not a new Coal Fired power station!
