We’re no longer waiting decades for nature to keep up with a changing planet. AI is compressing traditional breeding timelines at a staggering rate! Using tools like AlphaFold and generative genomic modelling, we can now ‘design’ resilience into our food systems at a pace we’ve never seen before.
This isn’t just about making farming more efficient; it’s about protecting a nation’s ability to feed its people regardless of what’s happening across the border. If you don’t own your seeds, you don’t own your future.

In this new era, the most powerful tool for national security isn’t just on a radar… it’s in the soil, powered by silicon. My biggest concern about current industry planning is that it’s often too slow and too reactive. In a world that doesn’t wait, we’ve got to lead the change or be left trying to catch up.
