Cultivated meat media costs continue to decline as more companies enter the sector.
Yep, it’s cultivated meat again! Sorry………… not sorry 🤣 If the claims are true then China based Jimi Biotech have reduced media costs by more than an order of magnitude, “3 percent of the price of the culture medium on the market”, to USD14 (presumably per kg). The advantage of so many different claims of cost reductions is that there’s numerous paths being explored and we only need a few, even just one, that’s successful to make cultivated meat viable.
