Some simple advice that, in the end, tells us what we should already know!

A 20-year study of more than 111,000 people found that a healthy lifestyle could increase life expectancy free from three common chronic diseases by up to 10 years for women and seven years for men.

  1. “never smoking;
  2. a healthy diet;
  3. a body mass index of 18.5 to 24.9;
  4. at least 30 minutes’ moderate to vigorous exercise each day;…
  5. no more than a small glass of wine or pint of beer a day”

Hopefully personalised nutrition will help us deal with the second issue much more effectively than we do today!
